My interests are calligraphy and Australian wildlife (amongst other things).
 
Canberra is my home town.  Besides being the capital of Australia Canberra is also known as The Bush Capital.  The city and suburbs are nestled in between nature reserves which are on the hill tops and create perfect places for walks and nature photography.  I am Marg Peachey.

Calligraphy

I learnt calligraphy in 1986 from Gemma Black and
I went on to teach it for over ten years to students at
night college.  Twenty five years later I am still teaching
on occasion to members of the Canberra Calligraphy
Society and taking on commissions.

Photography

A new camera and a new hobby and a desire to be a twitcher and photograph as many Australian birds as I can.

I have a Nikkon D3100 and mostly use a Nikkor 55-300mm lens.
